Asé Selah
My work is an examination and direct reflection of emotion and expression. I don’t usually worry about the structure of the work. It tends to build and piece itself together as the layers are applied over time. Both texture and form demonstrates strength, softness, connections and parallels. The purpose of my work is to tell the stories of the internal and external ways of life.

There isn't much to say about me other than I like to draw. I would love to inspire people with my art and show them what I can do.

Kevin J. McLean
Kevin McLean lives and works in Birmingham, Alabama, surrounded by a community of artists and the urban remnants from a once booming steel industry.
He attended the College of Charleston studying both fine arts and ancient history. The school's highly talented instructors provided him with a thorough understanding of traditional techniques, while encouraging him to confidently experiment with different materials and processes.
In 2013, upon graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Classical Studies he secured a position as an artisan finisher with the Urban Electric Company. Located within an old naval warehouse, the factory's rugged interior heavily influenced his sense of style. The focus on innovation and quality control created an environment that fine-tuned his attention to detail and design.
Kevin draws on this union of experience and curiosity to continuously develop unique methods for self-expression and evolve as an artist.
The presence of hard edges, rough textures, and severe forms in his work are inspired by the aesthetic elements of industrial environments and ancient relics lending each piece a robust and timeless sense of style.

Melissa YEs
I am artist who embraces appropriation, play, and overt sincerity to scrutinize mainstream American myths and attitudes. Ambitious multimedia projects form the gravitational center of my practice, which also sustains an orbit of smaller experiments in video, painting and sculpture. I have an affection for glitch and for un-precious materials, which offer both levity and critique of my subjects (and of myself). When humor appears in my work, I am being dead serious.
B.S. Biology // University of Alabama at Birmingham // 2006
B.F.A. Art // University of Alabama at Birmingham // 2012
M.F.A. Art // Ohio State University // 2017
I live in Birmingham, Alabama where, in addition to my creative practice, I am a student of biomedical sciences, program coordinator at the UAB Department of Art + Art History, and co-director of a contemporary art nonprofit, Vinegar.

I can do art but I have trouble having time to really enjoy it. I mostly like to animate and do digital art, but I’m learning to like doing paper art more.
Rosa Marie Delgado
For me, art has always served as a medium for expressing my emotions and traumas even when I didn’t even know it. I always knew I wanted to share that healing with others. In my 'Postcard from the Mind' paintings, the viewer connects with each of my portraits. Their backgrounds usually mimic their state of mind even if the expression on their face isn't apparent. It is my goal to emphasize the importance of empathy. I want the viewer to question, “I wonder what they are feeling” or “What are they going through?”
